The Michelin Guide's review
The Plateresque-style Capilla Real, which opens with a huge arch, is impressive on account of its monumental size. It is covered with an elegant, richly decorated cupola with caissons sculpted with busts. On the altar is a statue of the Virgen de los Reyes (Our Lady of the Kings), patron saint of Seville; in front of it, the silver urn contains the remains of Ferdinand III. On the sides are the tombs of Alfonso X and his mother, Beatrice of Swabia. The majestic grate that encloses the chapel was created in 1771.
