The Michelin Guide's review
In this chapel situated to the east of the Triana district, especially venerated is the Dying Christ, better known under the name of «El Cachorro, a masterpiece of the end of the 17C sculpted by Francisco Antonio Gijón. It is said that the artist was inspired to carve the face of Christ by a crocus he had received from a gypsy nicknamed «el Cachorro» who died murdered; the people of the district identified the reproduction as true and lifelike.
