Housed in an avant-garde building, the spacious museum has an exceptionally rich collection of 135 000 pieces. The exhibition presents some of them: superb calligraphy, secular and religious paintings, Buddhist sculptures, lacquerwork, woodwork, metalwork and ceramics. This gigantic space offers a unique overview of Korean history. If you have kids in tow, they might enjoy the Children Museum.
