After a mere 15min trek from the station of the cable car, you'll reach the Planai summit, recognisable by its cross. From there, take a moment to enjoy the Schladming Tauern to the south and further west in the background, the Radstadt Tauern and Hohe Tauern. In the north are the Hochkönig, Steinernes Meer, Tennengebirge, Dachstein and Totes Gebirge. A trail goes around the summit (45min) while another joins up with Krahbergzinken (2hr30 return).
