The Michelin Guide's review
St-Andoche Basilica was built in the 12C in the Romanesque style. Its interior features historiated or decorative capitals. Easily recognisable are, in particular, Christ appearing to Mary Magdalen, the Hanging of Judas, the Flight into Egypt and the Temptation of Christ. The choir stalls are decorated with small carved figures (14C) and high-relief sculptures. The organ loft dates from the 15C and the new organ is in the neo-medieval style. The restored marble tomb of St Andoche is located under the altar.
