Écomusée de Cuzals
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
In this beautiful natural setting, various aspects of rural life in Quercy are highlighted, from the Ancien Régime to the Second World War. The exhibits are displayed inside the rural buildings that constituted the heart of the farm – farmhouse, "cazelles" and thatched cottages – and take us from place to place, and from one era to another, thanks to the skill with which the furniture and objects (8,000 pieces) are presented. The reconstructed homes, the incredible collection of agricultural machinery and the workshops of craftsmen, potters, wood turners, clog makers etc create a bustling atmosphere. In summer, it springs to life. Every Sunday, various theme-based activities are organised.
