The Michelin Guide's review
Saut de la Mounine is a viewpoint located at an altitude of 323m, with the river flowing 155m below. You will see the bend in the Lot River, which encloses a patchwork of crops, and the ruins of Montbrun. Incidentally, the name comes from a curious legend: the sire of Montbrun condemned his daughter to be thrown from the top of the cliff for her amorous affairs. But a hermit was moved to thwart the plan and her dreadful fate was thus averted.
