The Michelin Guide's review
One of the country's oldest public buildings stands on the north side of the square. It was both the governor's home and the seat of power. Lew Wallace, author of Ben Hur, was its most famous occupant. The palace charts the history of Sant Fe and today is home to the fascinating New Mexico History Museum.
