Archaeological area of Ancient Sulcis
   Michelin Guide
 Historical and archaeological site
  The Michelin Guide's review
The archaeological area of Ancient Sulcis still has fragments of the trachyte-block surrounding wall that defended the Carthaginian necropolis in the 4C BC. You will see some of the hypogea of the Carthaginian necropolis, which contain a few sarcophagi, and - the centrepiece - the Phoenician-Carthaginian tophet. A look around the archaeological museum will round off your visit perfectly.
