The Michelin Guide's review
Built in 1749 for the engineers in charge of maintaining the fortress, this pink and white house also contained workshops and archives. Since 1997 it has housed a branch of the St. Petersburg History Museum. Enjoy the furniture, lamps, porcelain, books and paintings, as well as the fine reconstructions of 19C interiors.
