The Michelin Guide's review
The square is paved with bricks in a herringbone pattern and is flanked by old houses built in the 13C and 14 C and by the tower of the Devil the twin towers of the Ardinghelli, the main Guelph family in the town. The square owes its name to its central well with an individual charm.
