The Michelin Guide's review
Before taking the name Mission Bay and being developed in 1944, the marshes north of San Diego were called False Bay by sailors, who confused them with San Diego Bay. Since then, this 2 000ha recreation park (half of which is water) has been attracting a growing number of visitors, drawn by its 31km of beaches, water activities and outdoor attractions, and SeaWorld.
