  The Michelin Guide's review
This pagoda was built in 1997 on the bank of the Mekong river, on the same design as the original wooden pagoda destroyed by the Khmer Rouge. It boasts 96 slender columns (including 12 inside the vihear), cement replicas of the originals, and beautiful modern frescoes that recall the life of the Buddha. Don't miss the small lodge at the rear either; it houses paintings depicting a local legend involving a monk and a crocodile.
