A wonderful panorama awaits you, 12 km from Salzburg, at the end of a cableway, leading you to the top of the 1,853 m-high Untersberg. There, you overlook the Salzburg Basin and the view stretches as far as the neighbouring Alps, Berchtesgaden and beyond, to the Wilder Kaiser and Dachstein.
