Medieval streets

 City and village
  The Michelin Guide's review
A network of medieval streets, lined with gabled, half-timbered houses dating from the 14C-17C extends between New Street and Market Square. The street names here indicate the trades which once flourished in the town: Fish Row, Butcher Row and Silver Street. In a small square in the centre of Salisbury stands the 15C hexagonal Poultry Cross.
