The Michelin Guide's review
This cathedral was built from 1297 in the Gothic style and consecrated in 1414. The exterior is adorned with fine Gothic bays cut into the east and west gables. The interior is a classic example of Cistercian architecture, boasting a large chancel with a flat apse and soaring vaults. Abbot Anselm II commissioned the remarkable alabaster decoration.
