The church of Purísima Concepción sports a Latin cross layout, embellished with Neopolitan and Romanesque details because it was designed by Italian architect Bartolomeo Pichiatti, and then reworked by Spaniard Cósimo Fanzago Inside, admire the main altarpiece in the centre of which is one of the most famous canvases by 17C Spanish master, José de Ribera, Immaculate Conception.
