Bruzac castle
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Shortly after Saint-Pierre-de-Côle, the two towers of the Château de Bruzac come into view on the hillside to the left of the road. Built in the 11C, separated into two coseigneuries in the 13C and redesigned in the 15C, the castle was abandoned and now lies in ruins. A dedicated organisation has been working on its restoration since 1990 and offers tours of the site in medieval costume, with a focus on daily life at that time.
