The Michelin Guide's review
The Landmark Center is the most interesting building in Saint Paul, as much for its history as its architecture. This imposing Richardsonian Romanesque-style building was built in 1902 to house the federal government buildings. Having been neglected, the building has been restored to its former glory. It presents a fascinating exhibition on the history of the place (on the first level). On the upper floors, several former courtrooms are open to visitors.
