Museum of Urban Life
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
A visit to the Museum of Urban Life is a must for anyone who wishes to experience Ruse's atmosphere at the end of the 19C. Housed in a fine residence built in the National Awakening style, the museum displays costumes, jewellery and evening wear as well as silverware representing the different styles of the period (Baroque, Secession, art deco). The upper floor (painted drawing room, music room and dining room) recreates the atmosphere of carefree times, when people spent money freely.
