The Michelin Guide's review
The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin was remodelled in the Baroque and Rococo styles in the 18C. It was originally built for a convent of Augustinian canons. The frescoes harmonize with the exuberant sculpted decoration. The furnishings are loaded with statues and gilt in the purest Rococo tradition.
