The Michelin Guide's review
Black River Gorges National Park (6 500ha) is located between Chamarel and Le Pétrin, one of its points of entry (information centre). It strives to protect the forest stretching from the high plateaus (750m) to lower altitudes in the Plaine Champagne region. This nature-lovers' paradise, full of flora and fauna, can be explored on foot (70km of marked trails) or by car (a few roads suitable for driving). Magnificent panoramas from the Black River Gorges viewpoint.
