The Michelin Guide's review
Situated on Pincio hill, an oasis of tranquillity and fresh air for the inhabitants of Rome, the summer residence of the Borghese family is surrounded by delightful gardens. Now open to the public, the gardens are home to superb museums such as the Galleria Borghese, Galleria Nazionale, and Museo Nazionale Etrusco, as well as a zoo, a small lake with boats, some pleasant cafés and various attractions for young and old alike. The Galleria Borghese is well worth a visit for its works by Bernini and Caravaggio.
