The Michelin Guide's review
The centre of power during Antiquity, the Capitol Hill was adorned with magnificent palaces during the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The Palazzo dei Conservatori and Palazzo Nuovo today house the collections of the Musei Capitolini, one of the finest museums in the world. The most famous exhibits include the she-wolf feeding Romulus and Remus, the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius and the Capitoline Venus.
