The Michelin Guide's review
On the same site as the church of Santa Francesca Romana, this temple built between 121 and 136 by Hadrian was the city's largest (110m by 53m). It is composed of two main chambers with flanking apses: one housed the goddess Roma and looked out over the forum; the other dedicated to Venus faced the Colosseum.
