The Michelin Guide's review
The circular temple of Vesta is next-door to the House of the Vestals, traditionally entrusted with guarding the sacred fire. They lived according to a very strict code: recruited at the age of 10, they served at the temple for 30 years. If they broke their vow of chastity they faced burial alive and if they allowed the temple flame to go out they were severly punished.
