 Well worth the diversions
Religious monument
  The Michelin Guide's review
Founded in the 5C, this church dedicated to St Sabina was modified on numerous occasions over the centuries before being restored to its early primitive style. Despite the ravages of time, it retains some original features, such as the cypress-wood central door with eighteen carved panels depicting scenes from the Old and New Testament. The interior, well-proportioned in size and bathed in natural light, reflects the vigorous expansion of the Early Christian church.
