The Michelin Guide's review
Strategically posted on the moraine of the Val di Susa, this castle of medieval origin was reworked in the 17C and again in the 18C under Victor Amadeus II of Savoy, who wanted to make it into a residence. Juvarra's grandiose project remained unfinished. Only the left wing and the lower part of the central pavilion were completed. Since 1984, it has housed a Museum of Contemporary Art with an interesting collection of contemporary works dating from the 1960s to the present and temporary exhibitions.
