Straddling the Cantal and Puy de Dôme, the Volcanoes of Auvergne Regional Nature Park is a patchwork of landscapes composed of five natural regions, unique and complementary entities: the Artense, Cézallier, Monts du Cantal, Monts Dôme and Monts Dore. Unspoilt, shaped and inhabited by humankind, this territory has a wealth of habitats (volcanoes, crests, pastureland, lakes, forests etc), as well as exceptional flora and fauna, and a vibrant culture and know-how.
