The Michelin Guide's review
Like every Nordic capital, Reykjavík has an open-air museum that pays homage to rural and urban architecture. Dating from the 19C and early 20C, most of the buildings presented here since 1957 come from the capital. They are assembled around Árbær farm, which was founded in the 15C and active until 1948. A journey back through time and traditions, from the fishermen's house to the farm, and the church to the garage. There's also a children's puppet show in summer.
