The Saga Museum moved into Reykjavik's Old Harbour in 2014. The museum charts the important episodes in the early centuries of the country's history by means of scenes "performed" by amazingly realistic wax and silicon figures. Visitors can also imagine themselves as descendants of the Vikings by trying on some of the period costumes at the end of their visit.
