The Michelin Guide's review
To reach Mnajdra (or "small enclosure") Temple, some 500m from Ħagar Quim, you follow a beautiful path that crosses the moors and heads towards the sea. Composed of three buildings, this temple (3000-2500 BCE), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is even more intriguing than the others: is it the first time-measuring instrument we have discovered to date? During solstices and equinoxes, the rays of the rising sun respect an alignment that cannot be mere coincidence when they illuminate the interior of the temple.
