Badaguan is a former German concession of Qingdao. Close to Beach no 1 is the charming Colonial quarter with its nostalgic collection of stylish beach villas. They are hidden in large gardens planted with rare plants and flowers of all kinds. A pleasant stroll. Eight streets are named after the famous passes of the Great Wall, giving the district its name: badaguan means "eight great passes".
