The Michelin Guide's review
This triumphal arch, built in the late 1C and decorated with finely carved motifs depicting bunches of grapes (interior façade of the arches), stands at the end of Sergius Street. Known as the "Golden Gate" (Portarata) by the town's inhabitants, it is not in tribute to an emperor or general, but to three influential brothers, the Sergius.
