The Michelin Guide's review
The pleasant layout of this château and its gardens dates from the early 17C. Malle château itself, a delightful abode topped with a Mansart-style slate roof, is evocative of the typical chartreuse buildings of the Gironde region. Two low wings form a horseshoe shape flanked on either end by two large round towers. The outhouses are home to wine barns, while the terraced Italianate gardens open onto the vineyards.
