The Michelin Guide's review
Schwarzenberg Palace is assuredly the most beautiful Renaissance building in Prague. It was constructed from 1545 to 1563 by architect Agostino Galli, on the south side of the square. Its façades are decorated with diamond-tipped bosses and black-and-white Venetian sgraffito. After five years of renovations, the palace, now the property of the National Gallery, houses a superb exhibition dedicated to Mannerism and Baroque in Bohemia.
