The Michelin Guide's review
The church is part of the Klementinum architectural complex comprising a total of three churches. Construction began in 1578, in the Renaissance style, but the renovations carried out in 1640 by architect Carlo Lurago created its current Baroque look. The towers weren't added until 1714. The statues on the façade are by sculptor Jan Bendl.
