The Michelin Guide's review
With its 80m-high twin spires, themselves crowned with a plethora of bell towers and pointed spires, the Church of Our Lady Before Týn, known as Týn Church, is the city's most important Gothic sanctuary, aside from the cathedral. Construction began around 1360, on the spot where the previous Gothic church stood, itself the successor of a Romanesque building used by foreign merchants of the court of Týn. The church's interior is a blend of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architectures.
