At Rio Mau, the small Romanesque Igreja de São Cristóvão is a granite church. Notice the delicate decoration on the capitals. In Rates, the granite Igreja de São Pedro was built in the 12C and 13C by Cluniac monks on the orders of Henry of Burgundy.
