The Michelin Guide's review
Dedicated to San Gavino, a Sardinian martyr put to death under Diocletian in AD 304, the Basilica di San Gavino was built in the 11C and has all the characteristic features of Pisan architecture - limestone, blind arcades, narrow windows. It is also notable for its two facing apses, an original detail.
