The Michelin Guide's review
This Baroque church built in a Rocaille style over the period 1735-48 by the architect Nasoni dominates the busy street of the same name. Its tower, over 75m tall, is Porto's most well-known monument, which used to serve as a guide for the ships. From the top there is a panoramic view over the city, the cathedral, the Douro and the port storehouses.
