The Michelin Guide's review
is the term used to describe the ornate Gothic Revival wooden church designed by Portland architect Warren Heywood Williams and completed in 1883. One of the finer late-Victorian churches in the state, the building features a tall belfry tower, slender pointed arches and ornate tracery windows. The interior is a mixture of Victorian Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles.
