The Michelin Guide's review
Chinatown, a hotbed of trading, is the most picturesque neighbourhood in town. Despite modern buildings springing up, the neighbourhood has retained more or less dilapidated old houses with flower-decked, wrought-iron balconies on the first floor and colourful shops on the ground floor. Shops spill out onto the pavements, like Ali Baba caves. Fabric shops are concentrated in the middle of the district (Louis Pasteur Street, Rémy Ollier Street and Corderie Street). Don't miss the chance to meander about these bustling streets.
