The Michelin Guide's review
One of the most visited places in the Rainforest, just 20 minutes from Port Douglas, is this gorge carved into the rocky slopes of the mountain by the Mossman River, whose crystal clear, cool waters cascade over a bed of enormous granite boulders. Several trails crisscross the forest via a suspended footbridge, the longest of which is a 2.4 km (45 min) loop.
