The Michelin Guide's review
This mid-16C timber house, its windows running the full width and height of the front, owes its particular style to William Parker, Mayor of Plymouth from 1601 to 1602 but also a merchant and prosperous sea captain. The exhibitions present various aspects of the history of Plymouth, from transport to trade, and touching on the effects of the Second World War.
