Over 5000 years old and 9.5m high, this standing stone, nicknamed the "Hunchback" (An Tor) due to two protuberances, has inspired countless legends and also gave rise to a strange tradition during the 19C. Young married couples are said to have come and rubbed their naked bodies against its humps: the men in order to have sons and the women to ensure they had authority in the home!
