The Michelin Guide's review
You may have read about this splendid pyramid in Tintin and the Picaros! Beautifully balanced and proportioned, the nine-storey pyramid rises to a height of 55m, with four staircases leading to a square temple on top of the building. The whole structure was designed to honour the sun and emphasise the importance of its cycle. A sound and light show projected on to the Castillo recreates the illusion of a serpent sliding down the pyramid at the equinoxes.
