Longji is home to Zhuang and Yao villages, as well as grandiose landscapes of rice terraces, all of which resembles a kind of land art. The site is divided into two "regions" of terraces: Jinkeng (23km from the entrance) and Ping'an (17 km away). It's advisable to stay in the village of Ping'an, which is more developed in terms of the accommodation on offer.
