The Michelin Guide's review
The triangle of Vuelta Abajo extends from the south-west of Pinar del Río to the villages of San Luis and San Juan y Martínez. This is a tobacco-growing region, dotted with vegas (tobacco fields) where the leaves used in some of the world's most famous cigars are cultivated. This verdant, fertile farming area is also home to some of Cuba's most legendary fincas (plantations), such as the famous Robaina.
