The Michelin Guide's review
This 16C church (for which Raphael created his Virgin of St Sextus, replaced by a copy today) was built by local architect Alessio Tramello, to whom it owes its unusual architectural features. Its facade has a doorway from 1622 which leads into an atrium from the 16C. Inside are attractive Renaissance ornamentation and a splendid wooden rear chancel.
